EMPOWERED SELF
Individual  Therapy

Individual Therapy

Service: Individual Therapy

Feature:

One-on-one psychotherapy for adults experiencing diagnosable mental health symptoms that are impacting daily functioning.
Advantage: Evidence-based treatment with clear goals, measurable progress, and structured care.

Benefit:

Reduce symptoms, improve functioning, and regain stability in your mood, thinking, relationships, and day-to-day life.

This service is for adults who are experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, or low self-esteem that are interfering with life—sleep, focus, work performance, relationships, motivation, or emotional regulation. In therapy, we’ll identify clinical symptoms and patterns, set treatment goals, and work a plan that supports real change over time.

My style is  supportive, relatable, warm and practical. You can expect structured sessions, tools you can apply outside of session, and—yes—homework when it supports progress.

Eligibility:

Adults 21+ only.

Location: Georgia residents (virtual).

Insurance & Clinical Eligibility

I do accept insurance for individual therapy. Insurance requires medical necessity, which typically means a diagnosable condition and symptoms that are affecting functioning. We can not submit claims without a diagnosis. If a therapist ever told you that they did not assign a diagnosis while billing insurance, that is not true! We can only get reimbursed with a diagnosis. I will not assign a diagnosis that is not true.I make sure my client's are aware of my diagnosis for them and educate them on why I assigned it. Don't be afraid to call so we can do a consultation to assess what you're currently dealing with and how I can help.
